Disaster Risk Reduction Management
On August 31, 2017 the Olympics was held at Mambugan I Elementary school with a theme of 4 k’s: kamalayan sa kahandaan, katumbas ay kaligasan. The program started at 8:00am and was immediately followed by the performance of students from host school. The program was attended by different schools in Antipolo, from elementary and secondary. The contest held were quiz bee, junkart, poster making, slogan making, bandaging essay writing. The winners received a certificates of recognition and a first aid kits.
San Jose National High School students gave their best shot and won places in the said contests.Andrei Miguel Zamora won 6th place on junk art. Jomel Villasante, Jaycob Duray , Isaac Vegerano, Marien Apolinar and Arian Jake Muñez won the 5th place in Video Making. Angelhyn Rico placed on poster making while Lhei Andreen Jabal won 2nd place on Essay Writing.
Indeed it was an important event that gives us awareness on what to do during and before a disaster.
